Shirish Kirtane MD

Dr. Shirish Kirtane has been practicing medicine for the last 40 years in the Altamonte Springs area in Florida. He is Board certified in Internal medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Sleep Medicine. He is well respected by his colleagues and coworkers. He was Director of ICU at South Seminole Hospital for over 20 years, where he was also in charge of Respiratory therapy for a number of years. He also worked as Director of ICU and Respiratory Therapy at Florida hospital Altamonte Springs and served as Medical Director of one of the sleep centers. He is passionate about Medicine.

In addition to his love for Medicine, he loves to write and teach. He used to teach medical students in New York where he did his fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine. He has written several books, including the ABC of ABG and basics of Ventilators.
