Dr. Mark Kutner is a Principal Investigator at Flourish Research, based in Miami, Florida. He brings decades of experience in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, and critical care, along with extensive involvement in clinical research across a wide range of therapeutic areas.
He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Critical Care Medicine, with additional certification in Sleep Medicine.
With over 35 years of clinical research experience, Dr. Kutner has participated in more than 30 Phase I–IV clinical trials across a broad spectrum of indications, including respiratory diseases, metabolic disorders, infectious diseases, cardiovascular conditions, central nervous system disorders, and vaccines. His research portfolio includes studies in asthma, COPD, diabetes, hypertension, COVID-19, RSV, and numerous vaccine programs, among many others.
Dr. Kutner has held numerous clinical and leadership roles throughout his career, including positions in multi-specialty group practices, medical directorships, and academic appointments such as Voluntary Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Miami. He has also served on multiple hospital committees and boards, contributing to quality improvement and clinical oversight initiatives.
Dr. Kutner earned his Bachelor of Science from the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at the City College of New York and his Doctor of Medicine from Stony Brook University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Northwestern University Hospitals, followed by a fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Medicine at Johns Hopkins University.
