Jose Alvarez

Jose Alvarez is a results‐oriented leader focused on driving and improving business value by helping organizations navigate through complex business and organizational challenges. He offers a diversified, 20-year background during which he held senior executive leadership roles in operations, finance, strategy and organizational design within different sectors.

Most recently, he served as Chief Operating and Development Officer for Acorn Health, one the country’s largest clinical providers of applied behavioral analysis therapy given to children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. In this role, he led the growth and oversight of 70 treatment centers across the country.  Additionally, he serves on the Board of Directors of Inner Haven Wellness, a leading clinic-based eating disorder treatment provider in the US.   Prior to this, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of Costa Farms, North America’s largest manufacturer and distributor of ornamental plants.

Jose began his career in the audit practice of Ernst & Young, one of the country’s largest professional services firms. Jose holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of Miami.
