Gout Research Study
Flourish Research is seeking participants for a clinical research study evaluating KRYSTEXXA, a gout medication given either as an injection or by IV, along with a weekly medication, in adults whose gout is not well-controlled. The study includes a treatment period of about 48 weeks, with up to 33 study visits lasting about 4 to 6 hours each.
Qualified Participants Must:
✔ Be 18 years of age or older and able to give consent
✔ Have been diagnosed with gout by a healthcare provider
✔ Have gout that is not well-controlled, such as frequent flares, joint pain, or tophi (lumps of uric acid crystals under the skin)
✔ Have tried gout medications (such as allopurinol or febuxostat) that did not work well enough or caused side effects
✔ Be willing and able to stop certain gout medications during the study if required, take a weekly medication, and attend study visits

Participants May Receive:
- Study related care at no cost
- Study related medical exams and labs at no cost
- Compensation up to $4,950 for time and travel
