Type 2 Diabetic on Ozempic or Mounjaro

Qualified participants must:

Basic Criteria 

• Are you 18+
• Diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes 
• Currently on name brand Mounjaro or Ozempic as only treatment for T2D for past 5 months, allowing for temporary disruption of up to 2 weeks. 
• Must be able to bring in medical records that:
  • year diagnosed with diabetes
  • start date of Ozempic or Mounjaro
  • additional diabetes medications if applicable
  • most recent A1c, A1c prior to start Ozempic or Mounjaro
  • and weight prior to starting Ozempic or Mounjaro if known (if unknown, this is ok).
  • show Mounjaro or Ozempic dates of use 

 

Answers Must Be NO 

• Are you pregnant? 
• Do you have a cognitive impairment, hearing difficulty, visual impairment, severe psychopathology, or insufficient knowledge of English that would make you unable to complete the study visit and questionnaires 
• Are you currently on any medications intended for chronic weight management (including but not limited to Zepbound and Wegovy)? 
• Are you diagnosed with type 1 diabetes?
• Are you on a GLP-1 receptor agonist other than Ozempic.  Examples include Trulicity, Bydureon, Victoza, and Rybelsus.   
• Have you been in another study with investigational product in the last 30 days?  

 

Answers Must be Yes 

• Are you able to read and understand study directions? 

• If you have access to it, can you bring in your last recorded A1c reading for your visit? (OK, if they don’t have it but preferred) (examples: lab printout or access to it on their phone so they can share during visit and can be printed) 

 

 

 

 

Compensation up to $100 may be available for time and travel.
