Research Study For Gout Self Scheduler

Basic Criteria

You may qualify if you:

• Are between 18 and 75 years old
• Have been diagnosed with gout for at least 1 year and it is not controlled
• Have a visible or palpable gout lump (tophus) on your hand, wrist, foot, or ankle
• Have elevated uric acid levels despite treatment
• Are currently taking allopurinol for gout on a stable dose
• Are in general good health, with no major liver, kidney, heart, or stomach conditions
• Are willing and able to attend study visits and follow study instructions
