Pneumonia Vaccine Self-Scheduler

Qualified Participants Must:

• Be age 50+ 

• Be in good general health  

• Have no history of Pneumonia 

• Not have received a Pneumonia vaccination  

Answers Must Be No: 

• If female of childbearing potential and sexually active, are you pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning on becoming pregnant? 

• Do you have a known or suspected immunocompromising condition, including, but not limited to, leukemia, lymphoma, chronic renal failure, or congenital or acquired immunodeficiency? 

• Have you ever had Pneumonia? 

• Have you ever received a vaccine for Pneumonia? 

• Have you had a severe allergic reaction to any previous vaccination? 

• Do you have a bleeding disorder (such as factor deficiency, coagulopathy, or platelet disorder requiring special precautions) that would make you unable to get your blood drawn?  

• Have you received any blood or blood products in the past 2 months? 

• Have you had a history of cancer in the past 5 years? Basal Cell, Squamous Cell Skin Cancer, or In Situ Cervical Cancer that have been treated and in remission are allowed. 

• Do you have HIV, Hepatis B, or Hepatis C? 

• Do you have any other medical, surgical or social condition that may interfere with study participation? 

Answers Must Be Yes:

• Are you in good general health? 

• If sexually active and fertile, are you willing to use a highly effective form of birth control throughout the study?
