High Cholesterol Study

Qualified Participants Must:

Basic Criteria: 

• Must be 18-75 years old 
• Be on a statin
• BMI under 35 (Click here to calculate)
• Have high cholesterol 
• Do you have lab results indicating abnormally high or low levels of lipids? 
  • Lipids are fatty substances like cholesterol and triglycerides 

Answers Must Be No: 

• Have you had active pancreatitis within 12 weeks? 

• Have you had a stroke, transient ischemic attack, acute coronary syndrome, hospitalization for heart failure) in the past 6 months? 

• Have you undergone major surgery within 3 months? 

• Do you have uncontrolled hypertension? 

• • systolic blood pressure ≥ 160 mm Hg and/or mean diastolic blood pressure ≥ 100 mmHg 

Answers Must Be Yes 

• Are you on a statin and stable for at least 1 month? 

• Do you weigh greater than or equal to 110 lbs. / 50kg? 

• Are you willing to consistently maintain previously recommended diet and exercise regimen and comply with lifestyle requirements during the study? 

• Additional criteria will apply   

 

Compensation may be available for time and travel.
