Definition: Metabolic syndrome is a group of conditions that occur together, increasing the risk of heart disease, stroke, and type 2 diabetes. These conditions include increased blood pressure, high blood sugar, excess body fat around the waist, and abnormal cholesterol or triglyceride levels.

• High cholesterol
• High triglycerides
• Overweight
• Type 2 Diabetes

The purpose of this metabolic screening is to see if you qualify for paid research studies at Clinical Site Partners.
