Gout Self-Scheduler

To qualify for this study, participants must: 

• Be 18 years old or older
• Have uncontrolled Gout or one of the following symptoms:  
• At least 1 tophus (lump of uric acid on a joint), 2 or more gout flares in the past year, or have chronic gouty arthritis 
• Be willing to discontinue any oral Urate-Lowering Therapy 1 week before receiving first dose of study medication and during study period  
• Be willing to use a highly effective form of birth control 
• Not be pregnant or breastfeeding 
• Not weigh more than 352 lbs  
• Not have a history of any transplant surgery requiring immunosupressive therapy 
• Not have a history of Hepatitis B or HIV 
• Not have chronic liver impairment / liver disease  
• Not have uncontrolled diabetes  
• Not have HbA1c greater than 8% 
• Not  have a history of cancer in the past 5 year (except skin or cevical cancer) 
• Not have a diagnosis of osteomyelitis  
• Not have a history of Lesch-Nyhan and Kelley-Seegmiller syndrome  
• Not have more than 3 alcoholic beverages per week  
• Not have received an investigational drug in the past month
