Elevated Lipoprotein – Lp(a) Study Self-Scheduler

Basic Criteria: 

• Be 18 years or older.

• Diagnosed with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (such as coronary artery disease, prior heart attack, stroke, or peripheral artery disease.

• Have elevated lipoprotein(a).

• Currently on stable heart or cholesterol medications for at least the past 4 weeks.

• Body mass index (BMI) between approximately 18.5 and 40.

Please note additional criteria will apply 

Answers Must Be No: 

• Have you had a major heart event, stroke, or major surgery in the last 6 months?

• Do you have moderate to severe heart failure?

• Do you have severe kidney disease or active liver disease?

• Do you have uncontrolled high blood pressure or heart rhythm problems?

• Have you had cancer within the past 5 years (with limited exceptions)?

• Do you have uncontrolled diabetes or thyroid disease?

• Have you received experimental therapies targeting lipoprotein(a)?

• Are you currently undergoing lipid apheresis?

• Do you have a history of drug or alcohol abuse?

• Have you taken another investigational drug within the past 30 days?

Answers Must Be Yes 

• Are you an adult who can provide informed consent?

• Have you been diagnosed with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (such as coronary artery disease, prior heart attack, stroke, or peripheral artery disease)?

• Have you been told you have elevated lipoprotein(a)?

• Are you currently on stable heart or cholesterol medications for at least the past 4 weeks?

• Is your body mass index (BMI) between approximately 18.5 and 40?

• Are you willing to attend clinic visits and follow study instructions?

• If female: Are you not pregnant or breastfeeding and willing to follow contraception requirements?

• If male: Are you willing to follow contraception requirements during the study?
