Qualified participants must: 

Basic Criteria: 

• Be ages 18 – 80 years old

• Have Black/African American or Hispanic descent 

• Have one of the following: 

• • Heart attack 

• • Coronary revascularization (also called a bypass) 

• • Coronary atherosclerosis (or narrowing of the arteries 

• • Stroke 

• • Carotid artery revascularization (a minimally invasive procedure to clear blockages) 

• • Carotid artery stenosis (narrowing of the carotid arteries) 

• • Peripheral arterial disease (PAD) 

• Have at least 1 risk factors for cardiovascular disease and be on treatment: 

• • Type 2 Diabetes 

• • High cholesterol 

• • High blood pressure 

Answers Must Be No: 

• Are you pregnant or breastfeeding? 

• Do you have uncontrolled high blood pressure? 

• Do you have a planned or expected cardiac, cerebrovascular, or peripheral surgery or coronary revascularization? 

• Do you have heart failure? 

• Do you have a severe illness expected to reduce your life expectancy to less than 5 years? 

• Do you have a history of cancer within the past 5 years (except for skin or cervical cancer)? 

• Do you have active liver disease or liver dysfunction? 

• Do you have HIV, Hepatitis B, or Hepatitis C? 

• Have you been treated with an oligonucleotide or small interfering ribonucleic acid (siRNA) in the past 9 months? 

• Are you currently being treated with or plan to start treatment with lipoprotein apheresis? 

• Have you used other investigational drugs or products in the past month? 

Answers Must Be Yes 

• Are you willing to use a highly effective form of birth control during the study and 4 months after study ends? 

• If taking evolocumab, alirocumab or inclisiran are you stable for 12 weeks? 

• Additional criteria will apply
