To qualify for a study participants must be diagnosed with or have symptoms of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). Symptoms of depression includes sadness, a loss of interest in activities, trouble sleeping or sleeping too much, irritability, social isolation, lack of concentration, fatigue, or change in appetite (loss of or excessive hunger).

Qualified participants must:

• Be 18+ years old
• Be currently depressed
• Now enrolling multiple depression studies and the team will discuss which study you qualify for at your first site visit.

Answer Must be NO 

• Are you pregnant, nursing, breastfeeding or plan to do so during the trial?  

• Do you have a history of schizophrenia, Bipolar or other psychotic disorders or have a first-degree relative who had it?  

• Do you have antisocial personality disorder or borderline personality disorder?  

• Do you have moderate or severe substance abuse disorder (excluding caffeine and nicotine? Or have you been diagnosed with it in the past 6 months?  

• Do you have HIV, Hepatitis B or C? 

• Do you have uncontrolled thyroid disease, uncontrolled, diabetes or uncontrolled high blood pressure? 

• Have you attempted suicide in the past year? 

Answer Must be YES 

• Do you agree to use an effective method of contraception? 

• Do you agree to sign consent and comply with all study requirements?
