Juneteenth Family Festival 2024 “Fit and Fun”

Juneteenth (short for June Nineteenth) is a holiday that marks the end of slavery in the United States and is celebrated each year across the country.

Flourish Research Chicago returns to the SouthSide of Chicago for an incredible neighborhood event, Juneteenth Family Festival!

Now in its 5th year the festival aims to celebrate African and African-American cultural heritage, unite our diverse community, and connect Chicago residents with resources and services.

Flourish Research Chicago will be providing the community information on research in the areas of Alzheimer’s disease, diabetes, obesity, heart disease, and depression. Also educating the community on the free health care and the access to innovative treatments volunteers receive by participating in research!
