Basic Criteria:
- Diagnoses with high Lipoprotein(a) (Lp(a))
- Have a history of heart disease or risk factors for cardiovascular disease
- Willing to attend regular study visits

Answers Must Be No:
- Are you currently pregnant?
- Are you currently breastfeeding?
- Do you plan to become pregnant during the study?
- Are you currently participating in another investigational drug or device study?
- Do you have a serious or uncontrolled medical condition that would make study participation unsafe?
- Have you had a recent major medical event or procedure that would prevent safe participation?
- Do you have a known allergy or hypersensitivity to injectable medications like the study drug?
- Do you have any medical, psychiatric, or social condition that would make it difficult to complete study visits or follow study instructions?
Answers Must Be Yes
- Are you 18 years of age or older?
- Have you been told you have elevated Lipoprotein(a) (Lp(a))?
- Do you have a history of heart or blood vessel disease, or have you been told you are at increased risk for cardiovascular disease?
- Are you willing and able to attend regular study visits over a long period of time?
- Are you willing to receive study injections (study drug or placebo)?
- Are you willing to have blood tests, physical exams, and heart monitoring as part of the study?
- Are you able to understand the study and sign informed consent?
- If you are able to become pregnant: are you willing to use required birth control and complete pregnancy testing during the study?
